The Crow's Creek Mine 1800's

Some pictures taken along the way to the mine.

Crow's Creek Mine is about 3 miles off the main road.  The narrow dirt road is rough.  We had rented a 4 wheel drive pickup so our journey was easy.

What a natural spectacular setting.

The buildings stand as they originally were back in the 1800's.

Original log shed.

What appears inside in it's original condition.

Old artifacts and mining gear scattered everywhere.

My wife Donna posing.

That's me the photographer Dan Hill.

Waiting for a Grizzly or Moose to poke out it's head.

Old gold mining pans adorn the side of this shed.

Old Grizzly trap.

Although Crow's Creek looks inviting, the water is full of Glacier Mud.

Donna looking for Gold.

Such a natural un-touched setting since the 1800's.  The person in the picture is well preserved, also.
