Exit Glacier here pictures is just about 8 miles Northwest of Seward, Alaska. This picture is about 1 mile away. Marks from the Glacier caused by it's weight as it moved. We had to hike about 1/2 mile to this point A bight and sunny spectacular day. The wind was howling, however but very warm. The tip if the "Iceberg" as they say. Bottom right side of the picture is where it is currently melting with a huge water run off. The rock and gravel displaced by this huge Glacier is evident here in this picture.

What a trooper and explorer. A spectacular close-up of the Glacier. The run off melting of the Glacier makes a large river which begins to the bottom left of this picture. Exit Glacier creates this amount of run-off. They call the discoloration of the water: Glacier Mud.
